Elstead village occupies a favoured position in the Surrey countryside on the River Wey. It is situated 8 miles south-west of Guildford along the A3, between Godalming and Farnham, on the B3001. The Woolpack is located adjacent to the village green surrounded by handsome properties, some of which date back to the 17th century and just a short walk away is the lovely old church, originally built in the 12th century by priests from nearby Waverley Abbey.

Elstead is a picturesque place to visit and offers leisurely walks along the banks of the River Wey and beyond.
